Motherland:

What started off as garage rock has influenced and evolved with the Ottawa music scene. Motherland was formed in Ottawa, Ontario by high school friends Athanasios Kioulos and Gabriel Leger. After high school, they met Alex Evans at Algonquin College in 2017. The trio practiced and performed consistently until global pandemic struck in 2020. Jackson Steele, a mutual friend, joined the band when they reunited in 2022

Postluven:

Postluven is a blistering four-piece speed/death metal band hailing from the underground of Montreal, Quebec. Known for their devastating sonic speed and neck-breaking riffs, the band is hitting the road for an unapologetic trek of live destruction to celebrate their highly anticipated debut studio album,"Valley of Mortality". Following the explosive underground success of their debut EP, "Blasphemy of Blood", this tour marks a massive evolution for the band promising chaotic pits and unparalleled extreme metal intensity. 

Deadwell:

Deadwell is an Ottawa-based rock band blending punk energy with melodic depth, built on the chemistry of longtime friends and seasoned musicians. Formed from a shared desire to create without expectation, the band quickly found a natural creative momentum—something immediate, authentic, and worth pursuing.

Rooted in rock, punk, and alternative influences, Deadwell draws from bands like Thrice and Foo Fighters, but carves out its own space through a melody-first approach. Their sound pairs driving guitars with layered vocal harmonies and tightly constructed songwriting, striking a balance between emotional weight and accessibility.

Lyrically, Deadwell explores themes of nostalgia, introspection, and connection, often framed through imagery of space, wonder, and shared human experience. Their songs reflect on past lives in music, the search for meaning, and the importance of belonging—grounded in a perspective that values optimism, empathy, and social awareness.

Their release, While the World’s Asleep (April 2026), introduces a sound shaped by experience but driven by renewed purpose—equally at home in high-energy, anthemic moments and more introspective, atmospheric spaces.

At its core, Deadwell is about finding clarity in complexity—music that meets listeners where they are, and leaves them with a sense of perspective, connection, and forward momentum.
