Chiron Promotions Presents: Runaway Kit

Chiron Promotions Presents: Runaway Kit

with The Burningtree & The Astros

at LIVE! on Elgin

Runaway Kit:

Runaway Kit is an Ottawa based alternative rock band blending driving guitars, dynamic keys, and a distinctive saxophone edge into a high energy, emotionally driven sound. Fronted by powerful female vocals, the band draws influence from artists like Blondie, Metric, and No Doubt, combining pop rock sensibilities with a modern alternative sound.

Formed in 2024, the band quickly built momentum through live performances across the Ottawa scene. Their debut single Wired World was released April 18, 2026, followed by Galaxy Love, Pretty Little Princess, and One Step to Live. Together, the releases showcase the band’s hook driven sound and range of influences.

The Burningtree:

Reaching into the depths of progressive and alternative rock, The Burningtree has raw drive and dark soul in their catchy and upbeat songwriting. With punchy guitars, psychedelic bass and an octopus for a drummer (figuratively speaking); The Burningtree comes at you with full force and dares you to keep up.

The Astros:

The Astros are a Kingston, ON based indie rock band exploring a unique fusion of modern indie pop, vintage groove rock, and alt country. This seemingly incompatible combination comes together seamlessly during their unapologetically wild live performances. The Astros are like driving an old muscle car that's way too loud with its wheels falling off. But that's a lot cooler than your mom's hatchback, isn't it?
